Save Two Roosters Fusion: Fund Their Taco Truck

My name is Lisa Trevino and my partner is Paul Santos. I am an ICU Trauma and Burn Nurse. Paul is a retired Navy Vet. I met Paul on a travel assignment in 2022 up in Springfield, MA. We connected right away and Paul came back to Florida with me. We are amazing cooks and love each other's food so we decided to open Two Roosters Fusion. Our little restaurant is amazing and beautiful and everyone loves our eccentric vibe. Our menu consists of Portuguese, Latin & BBQ food.

The struggle to keep a small business brick and mortar has finally come to an end as dealing with our first slow season and high food cost of maintaining all of our bills for business and home we have finally reached our limit and can not afford to stay open. Paul went back to work as a truck driver cross country to help supplement and I decided to go back to nursing 3 days a week to try to keep afloat. I work 3 days nursing and then come to the restaurant and open for 3 days a week. Ultimately it's not enough and August 3rd, 2024 will be our last day open. It is truly heartbreaking. I invested every penny I had. I used my 401K, I sold my camper, I lost my car, and am now in debt. It's all truly heartbreaking.

But the fact still remains is that we love to cook. I am the Latin mom that loves to feed everyone and Paul loves to cook and he makes amazing dishes and amazing sauces. We want to transition our brick and mortar to a Taco Truck and start over again. I am left with nothing except the knowledge I've gained from owning my first business. We know you guys love our food. We know we want to keep providing amazing flavorful meals. It would take us a long time to save up for a Taco Truck all on our own. I know there are tons of beautiful people that have crossed our path and have tasted our food and are in love with it. We would love your help. Help Two Roosters Fusion not disappear. It takes a village!! I have nothing left financially. I walk away knowing I got to do something many people only dream of doing and we created something beautiful and some amazing dishes. There are so many more recipes in Paul's and my head and I feel like they are meant to be shared with everyone. Everyone told us our menu was too big and it was lol but it was hard to choose what to take off it because we loved everything. Please help us fund our Taco Truck!
