Save Wat Usa Thai Temple in the Bronx, New York

Wat USA - Buddhayaram Temple, the oldest Thai Temple in New York, is facing a challenging time. It was a central refuge for early Thai immigrants in the tri-state area for over 60 years and a place where our loving Thai community built our cultural heritage in the US and instilled traditional values in our children and grandchildren. Over time, community engagement from early families decreased as a result of life-changing events such as retirement, marriage, job, illness, family relocation, etc.

Any donations will help repair the structure of the building and improve the living condition for the resident monks. Because of the building's age, many things need immediate attention. These include plumbing, bathrooms, staircases, windows, pest and rodent control, among all the others.

Your donations will make our building a clean and safe sanctuary for monks and visitors alike. Help us rebuild on our values and on what we have as we are planning various programs for our vibrant and diverse communities.
