On behalf of Heba and her family, she has asked me to set up this GoFundMe due to the challenges of setting one up from Palestine. The price per person to escape is about $6,000 to $7000 and she has 10 members of her family. They had to move from the North to the South and have been living in a tent in a school for the past six months.

We need your help to evacuate to a safer place. Your support, sharing the word and prayers can make a big difference in giving them a chance for a better life. Your donations will be used to help Wateen's family travel safely through Egypt. The money will also help them start a new life, away from bombings and the tough situations they've been facing. Your help is important in giving them hope for a more stable and secure future.
How the funds will be used
• Have Wateen and her family names added to allowed-to-exist lists. (Estimated 60K to 70K USD)
Exiting from Gaza is unlike other parts of the world. In most places, you just pack your bags, head to the airport or border, and you're good to go. But in Gaza, it's different. The only way to flee out of Gaza is through the Rafah crossing point with Egypt.
However, it's not as simple as it sounds. To make it happen, they have to pay what's called "coordination fees" to get the names on the allowed-to-exit lists. As of February, these fees can be as high as 7000 USD per person. The money will be paid to a travel agency in Egypt called Hala, and it's the only way to get Wateen and her family's names on the list so they can be allowed to travel.

Once the names are added to the allowed-to-exit lists, the family will need around 100 USD per person to reach out safely to Cairo.
• Covering new life expenses with basic necessities after evacuation for 6-12 months. (Estimated 20K USD)
The reset amount of collected funds will be used to help the family cover life expenses for the next 6 to 12 months till they settle down.

I, Heba, write to you with a heavy heart and trembling hands, as a parent witnessing the devastation of war up close. Our beloved daughter Wateen and her 7 sisters are a beacon of hope in the midst of chaos, but their safety and well-being are threatened by the relentless violence that engulfs our homeland.
