We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for your support. Woven Fashion Incubator (WFI), located right here in Charlotte, has been diligently serving underserved students in our community and has been a beacon of hope for aspiring fashion designers and creatives in our city. However, we are facing an incredibly challenging situation that threatens the very existence of our program due to the unexpected withdrawal of support from our current investors and a shortage of essential funding.

WFI's mission is clear: we are dedicated to empowering aspiring fashion designers, particularly those who may not have had access to resources or opportunities elsewhere. Our location in south/west Charlotte provided a creative space equipped with 30 industrial machines and computers, all aimed at supporting the dreams and talents of fashion enthusiasts in our community. We go beyond just teaching design; we focus on providing affordable fashion design classes and essential business education, ensuring equitable opportunities for all fashion enthusiasts.

The impact of our program has been profound, helping these young minds flourish and reach their full potential. Our students are the future of Charlotte, and we believe in their potential to make a difference in our city.

Now, we need your help to preserve this lifeline. We are reaching out to our Charlotte community and friends abroad, because we know the strength that comes from unity and the love for children and fashion within the community. We are asking for your support to ensure that Woven Fashion Incubator can continue to provide a safe and supportive space for our students.

Your assistance is vital as we endeavor to find a new home for Woven Fashion Incubator. While we've secured a temporary space to maintain our classes and projects, we still need the community's help to secure a permanent location. We remain committed to hosting events to support designers in their journey towards success. Our upcoming events are as follows:

1. Mint Museum - November 10th
2. Prom Project - October to April
3. Winthrop University - December 2nd
4. Face Fashion Show - December 30th
5. Emerald Fashion Show - January 6th
6. Capriccio Fashion Show - March 2nd
7. Queens - March 6th

Your support will ensure the continued success of these events and enable designers to flourish along achievable paths. Let's work together to make this possible.

Here's how you can help save Woven Fashion Incubator:

1. Donate: Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will have a significant impact on our ability to continue providing a nurturing environment for budding fashion designers.
2. Share Our Story: Amplify our message by sharing our story and plea with your friends, family, and social networks. The power of community support cannot be overstated.
3. Advocate: Reach out to local businesses, community leaders, and organizations that may be willing to support our cause. Together, we can create a strong network of support to secure the future of WFI.

WFI is not just about fashion; it's about providing a platform for dreams to flourish, for creativity to thrive, and for students to gain skills and confidence. It's about empowering those who have a passion for fashion but lack the means to pursue their dreams.

We firmly believe that together, as a community, we can overcome this challenge and ensure that our underserved students continue to receive the education and support they deserve. WFI is more than just a fashion incubator; it's a symbol of hope, resilience, and opportunity for our future designers and artisans. With your help, we can ensure that this beacon of creativity and empowerment continues to shine.
