Save Yogi From Eviction
Spende geschützt
Ted "Yogi" Jordan started working in Fields Dining Hall at Lewis & Clark College in 1977. He is known by all students as a friendly face wiping tables and handing out Mickey balloons. He's basically the mascot of food service! This May will mark 40 years of employment at the school.
In February, Yogi's rent increased to $950 a month. This is well above his means, which are already supplemented with Social Security and help from his sister who lives out of state. Yogi currently faces eviction by April 1 if he is not able to make his rent. He has lived in this apartment for over 30 years.
The minimum amount Yogi needs in order to not be evicted is $775. Any additional money will supplement his forthcoming rent (especially during the summer when he is unemployed).
If there is additional interest in giving Yogi a big "thank you" present from the LC students & alum, we'd like to send Yogi on a dream vacation to San Francisco to see a Giants game and attend the San Francisco Symphony this summer.
If every student gave $1 we would be done today!
Thank you so much.
