Save Yousef’s Family from Gaza

Hello, my name is Noemi and I have set up this campaign for my friend Horria and her family. I live in Edmonton, AB, Canada.

Yousef, Horria and their family have experienced so much loss since the aggression on Gaza started. We are raising funds to help them evacuate and rebuild their lives. We are also raising money to help them survive until they can leave Gaza, as Yousef and the rest of the family have lost all of their income and are unable to support themselves, especially with the constantly increasing costs of daily necessities. Yousef and Horria have 4 children to support. Horria gave birth to twins at the beginning of the genocide, so it is crucial to help support their family as best as we can. Thank you all so much.

”Hello. Youssef is a Palestinian from Gaza , contacting you and asking for your help to his family, which is suffering from the horrors of the war that has been ongoing in Gaza for 7 months. I would like to tell you a little about the family : Please be aware that Youssef is 31-year-old employee, his wife, Horria, is 31 years old, children, Abdul Qader, 6 years old, Siwar, 4 years old, and the wonderful twin girls, Mayar and Lamar, 7 months old, who were born at the beginning of the war on Gaza, and they grew under the sounds of bombing, destruction, dispersal, and famines. Imagine leaving your home, which was purchased by loan, and payment which is not paid off yet, and being abandoned due to the continuous bombing and raids, leaving everything you own to live in a tent in the city of Rafah, the smallest city in the Gaza Strip, with 1.4 million other people. Then, on the 141st day of the war, you discover that your apartment It was completely destroyed, as shown in the video and photo before and after the bombing attached below.

This is the reality that Youssef lived Youssef left his home with 15 members of his family, as he had his parents, brothers and sisters with him, and they had to live in a 4 x 9 m tent that could not accommodate more than 6 people, but there was no other option. Youssef lost his source of income as an employee in a private company after the company was completely destroyed, and his father and brothers also lost their jobs and found themselves without any source of income as well , homeless , and without a place they could turn to . Diseases and epidemics spread among families due to the huge population density, with the scarcity of food and goods and their very high prices . The prices and constant bombing have made life very difficult and unbearable God blessed Youssef with twin girls at the beginning of the war, and they are now struggling to survive under these difficult circumstances, as they are now approximately 7 months old and need food and special care, which is difficult to provide by living in a small tent in an area full of epidemics. Be a beacon of support for the Yousef family The mechanism for disbursing the amount required to be collected from your aid “budget" : The total costs of surviving the war by leaving the Gaza Strip were estimated at approximately $95,000 CAD as follows : • The costs of coordinating crossing the Rafah land crossing to reach Egypt through Hala Tourism and Engineering Consulting Company for 6 members of the Youssef family $7500 per person = $45,000 • Land transportation costs not less than $450 • The cost of entry visa and travel tickets is $14,250 • Miscellaneous travel expenses: $5250 • The cost of renting a house for 6 months is about $6300 • Expenses for an estimated period of 6 months: $22,500 .
