For nearly 80 years, Zam Zam has served a diverse clientele in the heart of the Haight with the best martinis in town, exceptional jazz and blues jukebox, and an enchanting Persian mural in a lovingly preserved decor. The bar has remained unchanged since its opening in 1941, down to the air raid blinds, and remains a family-owned legacy business. Featured on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, Zam Zam stands as a piece of local and San Francisco history.
With the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been forced to close our doors, and our essential bills and rent are quickly mounting. We are reaching out to all of those who appreciate Zam Zam’s singular and historic qualities. We realize that these are trying times for us all. Anything that you can give to help us survive would be greatly appreciated. Please help us save this unique and beautiful San Francisco jewel.
We thank you and hope to serve you again soon.
