Change My Life!!!!!

Hey it's Ash here! I have struggled with gaining and losing weight for most of my adult life. I was told by my sleep doctor I could die any night due to my severe sleep apnea and it scared me into action. The CPAP isn't enough. The diets weren't enough. The exercise wasn't enough. So I have decided to go for bariatric surgery. I have tests coming up which will cost a about $1000 all together and that's with my deductible met. Also, I will have to miss 3 weeks of work when. I get the surgery. The money I am asking for covers both as I likely will qualify for short term disability but that is not 100% of your wages as many of you probably know. ANYTHING HELPS. I am getting the gastric sleeve surgery if all tests go well. I need a psych eval, an EGD, a chemical stress test and a dietician apt. The good news is if all goes well the surgery itself is covered completely as I am considered to having a life threatening illness not just of obesity but also the apnea. Nothing in this life is scarier to me right now than going to sleep. So please consider helping me. Love y'all and together we can save my life and even add years to it!! We have almost reached the1000 for my of pocket... We only need a bit more!!! Once reached and I get a surgery date, I will make one more GoFundMe to help me with the money that we don't get from the short-term disability so that I can focus on healing and not on having to go back to work too early... I will likely have to take 3 weeks off work.
