 Who is Blarney O'Budrick?

From his second story window, King Street's most famous Golden Retriever has happily kept watch over the comings and goings of West Toronto for years.

Paws hanging over the sill, he regularly elicits smiles from familiar locals and bemused passersby alike and has caught the attention of hundreds of Instagrammers thanks to his personal hashtag. Blarney O'Budrick makes everyone smile.

But now, Blarney O'Budrick is very sick. And it's almost certainly cancer.  

Needless to say we are shaken and very worried. For now though, we're keeping him comfortable and looking at every option to help him beat this thing — but diagnoses and treatments are expensive and urgently needed.

We're hoping his friends (old and new) can help him out by contributing to and sharing this gofundme campaign to cover medical costs.

Funds raised have helped out tremendously, but we need to reach our goal to help cover with the following:

Blarney O'Budrick is dearly loved by his family, friends, neighbourhood and insta fans and would love nothing more than to chase his ball in the park and hang out at his window for years to come.

 We're grateful for the years of happiness he's brought our family and the countless other people he's made smile nearly every day of his life.
