Save Brown Grove

Brown Grove Baptist Church was established 150  years ago by freed slaves during Reconstruction after the Civil War. The land has been passed down to relatives for generations along with oral history. We have been routinely targeted by industrialization so we are creating systems to protect the community from future development. Everyone deserves to breathe healthy air, drink clean water, and live in an environment free from harmful pollution. To protect the integrity of our past and help provide for our future  we need your help to ensure that Brown Grove obtains the protections available by listing it as a National Historic District. This requires an investment of $25000 and we need your help . We need 250 people to donate $100.
