SAVED: Help Pay For Tank's Expenses
Tax deductible
Today, Tank, a death row dog in Vernon, New Jersey was adopted by a wonderful dog advocate in Orange County, New York.
Tank is a 2-1⁄2-year-old American Bully faced a court-imposed death sentence after biting a man in September. The dog was held at the Vernon pound since last fall.
Tank's life was saved by a whole team of people working together, all contributing their skills in legal, financial, organizational, individual, and more. Special thanks go to Nick DuBois, Esq. and Gina Calogero, Esq for their legal skills in getting Tank's life spared until a suitable home could be located.
APLNJ paid Vernon's boarding fees so Tank's adoption would proceed. Thanks to Janine for being a tireless advocate for Tank, who raised money to pay for the enclosure originally required. Thanks to Alice, Angi, Dani, Dave, Jill, Sherry, and Susan for going to court and being involved. Thanks to Cheryl for bringing the muzzle and crate needed to transport Tank. Please let me know if I've missed anyone.
PLEASE donate so we help the new adopter with getting additional expert training for Tank, in addition to helping him pay for other costs to help him adjust in his new home. We'd also would like to reimburse Tim for the boarding fees he paid to Vernon.
Let's share these costs together, so Tank's needs are met.
Many thanks to everyone who inquired about Tank and are donating to this great cause. All funds raised will go directly to this effort.
