Lindsay's life changed is a split second. She was getting ready to go over to a friend's house to spend the night, like any other 13-year-old girl, when she had a sudden headache. She suffered a massive brain hemorrhage and immediately fell into seizures and a coma. The bleeding has killed the left hemisphere of her brain and doctors had to remove her left frontal lobe. No one knows how much brain damage she will have.
One second, she was a horse loving, Junior National Honor Society middle school kid and the next she was fighting for her life. Lindsay is tough and what would have instantly killed most people, she is still fighting through. Doctors are unsure of what her physical and cognitive abilities will be when she comes out of her coma, but what everyone knows is she will require medical care for years, if not the rest of her life.
Please help this family and this wonderful girl.
