The Myanmar military has seized power by staging a coup. They have arrested Daw Aung San Suu Kyi (Advisor of the president), Win Myint (democratically elected president of Myanmar) and other leaders of elected officials.
The people of Myanmar made their voices heard through daily peaceful protests across the nation. Civilian workers, from healthcare profession, teachers, and people from all walks of life staged the nonviolent CDM, resulting in lost income while fighting for democracy. We are in very bad condition at the moment, many innocent people are killed, arrested and kidnapped day and night.
Your contribution will support a democracy-loving protester who risks their lives on the street in personal protective equipment, and your donation will provide humanitarian assistance to those involved in the Civil Disobedience Movement and their respective families.
