Save Myanmar

My name is Steven Oo, a sweater designer born in Myanmar. Due to the catastrophic rainfalls the country has been having since mid June, there have been landslides, dam failures and severe flooding wiping out entire villages and towns; displacing over 150,000 people in the northern and western part of the country.

Global Media has not caught onto the severity of the situation but with many friends and family members living in Myanmar, I know that the situation is much more dire than it may seem to the international community.

I am pledging $5500 to this campaign personally and I am appealing to my friends all over the world to help out in any amount they could. $20 may not mean much to you but it could mean a world of difference for the people really in need.

Once the donations have been made, I will keep updating to clearly outline where the money is going and how it's helping the local communities.
