Save Chewie

Our beautiful cat, named Chewie (shortened from Chewbacca), has a cancerous tumor in his trachea, blocking his airwaves. He's being treated at the animal hospital, in an oxygen cage to keep him breathing and comfortable. Steroids are being administered to attempt to shrink the tumor, if it's lymphoma. If it's another form of cancer, the steroids won't work. Radiation might be considered. We're attempting all options to save our baby boy. Chewie is my daughter's cat, when we were at the shelter, Chewie put his paws through the bars of the cage and grabbed her hair. HE chose HER. He means so much to my daughter and our family.

Obviously, medical costs for pets is outrageously high. We would never ever consider asking for help, but this cost is in the thousands at the moment and will continue to grow.
