Save Our WNYCPC Legal Defense Fund

The WNY Children's Psychiatric Center is a NYS Center of Excellence located in a peaceful, park like setting in West Seneca NY. It serves children 4 -17 years old that have serious mental illnesses and emotional trauma, many of whom have been abused by adults. Governor Andrew Cuomo wants to close this facility (which serves 19 WNY counties and continually has a waiting list for admission), and move it onto the grounds of the adult psychiatric center in Buffalo. The children would be housed in the same building with long term adult psychiatric patients. This campus also serves inpatient alcohol detox patients and adults with gambling additions, and is in a busy, crowded urban setting. These conditions are not good for the children.  We are taking our fight to the courtroom to stop this horrific move, and need to raise money for legal fees.  Please consider donating to our fight back campaign.
