Rahaf Al Qanun made headlines for being the brave, fearless teenager who barricaded herself in a hotel room in Thailand and refused to be put on a plane back to Saudi Arabia. Defying her family, her government, and ALL the odds against her, Rahaf has landed safely in Canada.

Her new Canadian family (Ensaf Haider, Tarek Fatah, and Yasmine Mohammed) want to start a fund for her. Starting a brand new life with nothing but the clothes on your back will be daunting for this 18 yr old girl-especially since she is not used to the harsh Canadian winters (or the price of a coat and boots!)
