Cassius Medical Fund

My name is Jenny Manning and I run a playgroup for dogs in Southlake, Texas.  We care deeply for all of the pups in our care and if one is sick we like to do all we can to aid in their recovery.  One such puppy, is a two years old black labradoodle named Cassius.  He is currently suffering from a mystery illness that has veterinary specialists completely puzzled.  Dear sweet Cassius has been sick for 2-3 months now and in spite of numerous (expensive) tests, x-rays, blood work etc., the specialists are still not close to discovering why he continues to lose weight. He is eating well and always ravenously hungry, but he can't continue to lose weight like this for much longer.Cassius 2 weeks ago


There are still many, tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, that they can do but he is running out of time and his owner is a young woman just out of college who is totally devoted to him.  Her parents are helping with the veterinary costs, but as you know, they can mount up very easily.
It breaks my heart to see these lovely people feeling so lost and alone, clinging to every hope each test might reveal, only to be dissapointed and watching Cassius continue to deteriorate.
I would be so very thankful if you could help them to discover what is wrong with this boy so that he can be running and playing with his CritterCare playgroup pals once again.
