Emergency Gaza Evacuation: Save Tamer's Family

My name is Tamer, my family are displaced in Rafah in Gaza in a tent, and we desperately need your help to save us from certain death.

Time is running out. If we stay here, our lives are constantly under threat, day and night. What we witness here is unimaginable. Nowhere and nothing is safe in Gaza.

I have done a lot of good here for the displaced people around us, including the unaccompanied children, and I continue to do everything I can – but I also must save my family from death.

My family consists of 11 people, including my elderly parents, my older brother, his wife and daughter, who is only 11 months old. Yara is my love and my whole life, and all she has known is this brutal war.

Each of us needs around $10,000 to cross the Egyptian border and to safety. It's a lot, but these are necessary measures to escape this genocide, especially before the threatened ground invasion of Rafah.

We're running out of time.

Everything we owned was left behind in our destroyed house; demolished by a bomb which injured me, my father and my older brother as well. We all desperately need medical treatment in Egypt.

We emerged from the rubble very miraculously, and we left to escape death and left everything behind, including our passports.

Therefore, I appeal to everyone to give what they can. We are starting again from nothing.

I can't see my family suffer and die. I want to see a future for baby Yara.

The day before this war started, 6 October, I graduated. It was a dream. And now everything is destroyed.

My father suffers from a chronic disease, which is high blood pressure and anemia. He also suffers from diabetes, and he suffered an injury as a result of the targeting of our house.

‏As for my mother, she also suffers from a chronic disease, which is high blood pressure, kidney failure and joint pain.

As you can tell, so many of us need urgent medical attention in Egypt.

At times, we sit here in our tent in the bitter cold and we lose hope... please help us... please give us the strength to carry on, and believe that we have a chance to survive this genocide.

We are all so grateful for any donations to help our family, and we will thank each of you personally.
