#SaveTheCoach: Help Support Chad Cowdell's Cancer Battle

Hi friends!

Just before Christmas 2023, my dad, Chad Cowdell, was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Not the Christmas present we were expecting... Despite having cancer, my dad has had a great attitude as he has undergone 28 radiation treatments and 5 IV chemotherapy treatments thus far. He still has 4 more IV chemotherapy treatments and potentially a surgery.

To introduce us a little bit, I am the oldest of my mom and dad's three children. I live in Orem where I work, and it's been difficult to support my family from afar. My sister is moving to New Hampshire to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And my brother is just starting high school at Carbon High School and is super excited to play sports! My mom is a business professor and on the Community Relations team at Utah State University Eastern.

My dad, Chad, has been a pharmacist for the past 22 years in the Carbon County area where he has enjoyed serving the community and its members. One of my dad's passions is soccer. He enjoys mentoring the youth in our community regarding soccer as well as teaching them many great life lessons. The youth that my dad has coached over the years love and admire him, and they are supporting him in his fight against cancer. Chad is the Carbon High School boys soccer head coach and coaches Voltage FC competitive travel teams as well. Chad loves his family, and he enjoys working to support them.

Right now, we need your help! With the time and logistics of receiving his treatments, the rapidly increasing medical bills, as well as travel and daily living expenses, I am trying to raise money for him to help ease his burdens and stress.
