Save The Kitties 2017 Campaign
Donation protected
March 16, 2017
Dear Friends,
In 2016, Companion Animal Trust saved the lives of 112 homeless cats and kittens. In 2017, finances permitting, we hope to do as many or more.
But we need your support now to achieve that.
Today we launch the CAT 2017 fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $5,000+. All funds received will go directly for the care of the cats and will be used to purchase food, litter, medical care and spaying and neutering. All donations are tax deductible.
Please support this grassroots, community effort.
Background:
Companion Animal Trust is an all volunteer 501c3 non profit charity in the state of New Jersey. We receive no municipal funding for the community services we provide. CAT is certified on Guidestar .
We rescue and rehome dozens of homeless cats and kittens each year. In 2016, 112 lucky kitties were sucessfully rescued and placed into loving forever homes. All the cats are medically treated, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.
We are also a resource to the community for feral cats through the Neighborhood Feral Cat Initiative . Since 2009, through education and funding we have enabled over 2,000 feral cats to be spayed or neutered in the only program of its kind in Hudson County, NJ.
In 2016, using a grant from the City of Jersey, we initiated the Lafayette TNR project and successfully managed 120 cats -- 82 were TNRd and 35 were removed and homed.
To continue to provide these services, we need your help through a giving donation. These funds will allow us to save so many lives that would otherwise not even be known.
All donations are tax deductible AND 100% of your donation goes to directly benefit the cats. There are no salaries or other overhead expenses because the cats are fostered in private homes. So all funds received go directly to pay for medical care, food, litter and toys.
Animal rescue is a 24/7 commitment. Please help us to continue that commitment.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
