Help Caleb get his SAAB fixed

Donation protected
On the evening of January 11, I was driving home crossing Snoqualmie pass. The weather was terrible—with snow and ice on the road. Despite my chains, snow tires, and cautiously slowing below the speed limit, the trip ended in an unavoidable wreck. Luckily, my passenger and I walked away with only minor injuries. My car, on the other hand, was not as fortunate…

My Cosmic Blue 1998 SAAB 900 Turbo (only 396 made in this color) was my daily driver and reliable source of transportation for me, especially during the pandemic—in which I lost my job as an automotive repair technician. The previous owner and I both invested significant time and funds into replacement parts and meticulous maintenance, including: full suspension overhaul with Bilstein shocks and struts all-around, new clutch, radiator, starter, ignition cassette, oil pan, alternator, regular upkeep/wear and tear items, etc. I fell in love with this car, which has always been a warm place of comfort and a safe mode of transportation for myself and my family.

I know my SAAB has a lot of life left in it, despite being of a dying breed. It ran like a top and I would like to keep it on the road for as long as I can. Please help raise the funds for the parts and repair costs to get my car back up and running. Although there was no frame damage, these include almost an entire front end panel replacement, AC, and radiator components. I am without a job, trying to figure out what to do with my future during this pandemic. Having my car functional again would help me along that road.
