Help Save Iconic Vermont Barn
Donation protected
Vermont is known for it's rolling hills, green mountains, and iconic red barns. Recently I purchased one of these historic barns on what was known as the Whitcomb Farm. Unfortunately the main barn is in dire need of repairs. With your support, I can apply for a 50/50 matched grant and save the barn. View from direction of I-91, between exit 7 & 8
If I can raise $15,000, I will be able to apply for the Vermont Barn Grant which offers a 50/50 matching grant towards the restoration and preservation of Vermont Historic Barns.
Example of the types of structural repairs needed
What the Future Holds:
In 2013, Fernleigh Cellars was founded and we have big plans for the future! We're Vermont's first Maple winery and the barn plays a major role in the future production/expansion of our winery. We're also rejuvinating the Farm's amazing land resources in order to bring fresh produce to local farmers markets.
Every dollar you donate will help save a little bit of Vermont's rich history.
