         Everyone who is reading this, thank you for taking the time out of your day to read about my amazing mother who is also a beautiful wife, grandmother and friend to many. I am already thankful for any donations and shares!
        My mom, Karen, is battling STAGE 4 LUNG CANCER and it has been spreading to her bones, organs and her brain. This happened out of nowhere and is spreading fast. We’ve spent many hours and days in the hospital doing CT scans, MRI’s and Pet Scans trying to make a plan. Were trying our best to be able to do everything we can.
       My mom started radiation and was only able to make it to day 15 when becoming very sick. We found out; the reasoning of her being so sick is because she had radiation poisoning… she had to stop radiation until further notice. So we were ready to try anything else in the meantime. My mom then took a genetic test to see if she was eligible for Immunotherapy, which we heard has the BEST success rate with prolonging her life. We received good news that she is mutation type A and IS eligible for Immunotherapy! The bad news is that it is insanely expensive. The medical bills have been quickly flying in so we have all been trying our best to keep up with it. My sister Kara and my brother P.J. have been saving and helping so much. I personally have been giving my plasma when I 'm able to and I save that money to go towards any bills.  We are doing everything we can along with trying our best to stay strong and positive, but it is very hard and we need help.
        Immunotherapy/Tagrisso, is the medication my mom has to take, along with some other medications like Eliquis for blood thinning. If you google these, you can see how much this can help my mom and the cost.. Tagrisso alone is about $16,000 for a supply of 30 supplements, which she has to take everyday.
       This is difficult for us to even ask, but we need your help with any kind of donation or a share of this page! Anything helps!
