Hi All,

I am contacting you on behalf of my niece Aizat, a beautiful young woman, who lives far away in the small mountain country Kyrgyz Republic, who in desperate need of a liver transplant if she is not to die. The operation which could save the life of this young wife and mother can only be performed outside of Kyrgyz Republic at a cost far beyond the financial means of her family which is why Aizat urgently needs your support.

Here she is in her own words.

Hello everyone,

My name is Aizat Baktybek Kyzy, I am 25 years old and I want to share my story with you.

I live in Kashka-Bash village in Chuy Valley which is in Kyrgyz Repulic with my very supportive husband Baibek and our wonderful baby daughter Ailuna. Until recently I worked in our local post office and my husband worked at airport reception. We lived in love and harmony, life was full of possibilities and dreams for the future.

No-one could have predicted that something unseen and ominous was approaching on the horizon that would change everything. I never thought that one day I would find myself appealing to the generosity and kindness of people outside my country. Unfortunately the dramatic course of my life forced me to do this for the sake of my tiny daughter and my beloved husband.

In March 2018, in a few months after the birth of my daughter, I started feeling unwell and had to be rushed to hospital. The diagnosis was devastating - massive bilateral (left and right lobes) liver alveococcosis. Doctors advised me an urgent surgical intervention to remove the worst affected left lobe of my liver. Soon after, I underwent this operation in Kyrgyz National Hospital. My doctors’ expectation was that removed part of my liver would regenerate within 3-4 months. Disastrously, this did not happen destroying my hope of recovery. Moreover, the alveococcosis has spread to my entire liver and is progressing rapidly so that for several months now I have been living these days under permanent risk of liver failure.

Doctors have told me, the only option for me to survive is an urgent liver transplant. Unfortunately liver transplantation is not available in my country. Despite this overwhelming news, I am not giving up and determined to fight against this terrible disease.

Right now the only way for me to access this life saving operation is to seek treatment abroad by paying for this privately, myself. After searching a lot about the most suitable and cheapest place to do that, we found that the best place would be in India or Russia, where I will have to pay in region 40,000 to 50,000 dollars for a liver transplant and this is without additional expenses. This amount of money is a Price of my life and my family just cannot afford such a large amount of money.

My family doesn’t have assets to sell and pay for this life saving operation and my husband is barely able to cover my regular medical expenses. I should admit my country is really poor and people cannot help each other in such situation.

Disappointingly, we lost so much precious time trying to find money for my liver transplant; time is running out for me. I am living my worst nightmare now, dying every single day in terrible pain and sickness, balancing between Life and Death.

However, I still have some hope, this is why I am reaching out to you and I have no other choice but to ask you, people living so far from me to please give me chance to survive and see my daughter grow up.

Without your help I will die sooner rather than later.

I am asking if you could manage to donate even a few euro or dollars to get closer to fulfilling my hope. Any donation will be greatly appreciated, nothing is too small. I appreciate you even reading this page and my story. I will also greatly appreciate any help in reaching as many people as possible by sharing link to my story on your social media sites.

All funds raised will go directly towards my medical life-saving operation.

I will be extremely grateful for any help you can offer and wish to thank you all from the bottom of my heart,

Aizat Baktybek Kyzy.
