On December 5, 2019, the roof collapsed on the church building housing the Black Bottom House of Prayer. This structure is one of few remaining historical buildings in the heart of Parramore in Orlando, FL. The collapse comes as activists are rallying support to designate the church as a historical landmark. The structure was built in 1925.
A group of community leaders have come together to help raise funds to cover the costs of preliminary engineering assessments, debris removal, as well as the planning costs and eventual restoration.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
