Saving Bru

Hi my name is Katie and this is for Bru.

Although I look like a big dog I am only a baby.

My old owner didn't feed me and left me outside for my entire life. They tried for one day to find a new home for me but dumped me instead like rubbish on the streets. the dog warden found me and took me to the local dog pound where I was given 7 days to live before they wanted to kill me. A few ladies found out and managed to secure me a place at a rescue. When collect from the pound I wasn't well. I'm malnourished and weigh 14kg when I should be 36kg. I was covered in my own poo and pee and smelled awful. I have been throwing up worms that have been making my tummy hurt.

I still didn't want to eat properly so my rescue lady took me back to vets and on top of everything else I now have parvo. I'm now on a drip at the vets who are trying to save me as I'm not ready to go to heaven. Please can you donate towards my vet fees. I'm only a baby and the only experience the bad things is life so far. I want to smell grass, feel a soft bed and not be hungry again. I'm fighting as best as I can but need your help too.

The vets require the bill to be paid daily and its sitting at £1200 which is increasing daily. Even if its just a pound its a step closer to keeping me alive. Much love to everyone.
