Saving El Camino Mongolian BBQ

Donation protected
I've started this campaign to raise funds for my parents' restaurant, El Camino Mongolian BBQ. My family immigrated from South Korea and has been running the business for over 15 years. My mom and dad, Sunny and John, built up the business and dedicated it to customers— the walls of El Camino Mongolion BBQ are filled with photos of the smiles of our patrons.

I have many fond memories of serving our long-time customers, many of whom we watched form their own families through the years. Sunny always has a knack for remembering the regulars, where "their seats" are, and their go-to drink orders. John and Sunny would also help watch after and feed kids so parents got a chance to eat first for once!

We were hoping to see the business sustained through take out and delivery until dine-in restrictions lifted, but this has proven extremely challenging with current limitations. Because of COVID-19 changes, John and Sunny are facing the possibly of closing the business permanently. What's worse, despite being so successful for all these years, attempts to take out small business loans have been repeatedly declined due to visa requirements.

I'm asking this community of Santa Clara locals, friends, family, and regulars to support John and Sunny in keeping El Camino Mongolian BBQ afloat until dine-in and business restrictions are changed!
