Saving Isiah

I'm Natalie Miller, my nephew Isiah Knight is very ill and was just admitted back into Sick Kids Hospital on April 23, 2023, for the 3rd time in 6 months. He is severely underweight (69 lbs), is in severe pain, and has aggressive behaviours and insomnia. He has been seen by over 10 doctors locally and Sick Kids without a diagnosis.

Isiah is 9 years old, Autistic, 100% nonverbal and healthy before March 2022. His doctors believe the mold in the home may be the source of Isiah's Health Issues and needs to be ruled out but there is no test within the healthcare system for Mycotoxin

Why are we raising funds

They reported mold in their home since 2016, but the Landlords have done nothing besides paint over it. They were forced to call the City of Oshawa last Aug 2022 and filed a T2 and T6 with the LTB in Oct 2022, (the 3rd LTB court date is still pending). The City of Oshawa ordered the Landlords in Sept 2022 to paint over the mold growing through the drywall in bath bathroom ceilings.

The mold returned in Dec 2022 for the 4th time. The Landlords came in March 2023 for a mold inspection with their mold inspector and painted over it again. The original drywall from 2015 is still in the home, there is black mould growing under the vinyl flooring, the tiling and the shower faucet.

Part 2 of the 1st inspection, and the video of them returning for mold under the caulking... Isiah ended up in the hospital again 1 day after this video.

Michelle's (Isiah's mom) health is also very bad, she has greaves disease which relapsed when Isiah was hospitalized for a week in Nov at Sick Kids, and a week later she was diagnosed with a Brain aneurysm. In Dec she was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and situational depression.

The doctors say they need the mold ruled out as a cause for their health issues, but unfortunately, with the last LTB hearing adjourned and without a new court date we need answers for Isiah now!
