Saving Kimber June

My name is Aurora Joy and this is my sissy Kimber June. This is me on the right, and my sissy with the big smile on the left. We have been best friends since we were born. She hasn’t been feeling the best lately and I want to help. Her Doctor found that she has not one, but three congenitive heart diseases. If these are left untreated she will not have a very long life and it will put her in a lot of pain. She was born with these defects and over time they have gotten significantly worse. My sissy can no longer play with me outside and be a normal dog. Too much excercise makes her heart work harder and could easily send her into cardiac arrest. I love my sissy so much, and it makes me sad that she has to sit and watch me and my doggy friends play without her. My mommy and daddy love us so much and would do anything they possibly could for us. The doctor told my mommy that it is possible to make my sissy feel better and give her a longer life with cardiac surgery to close off the vein that connects her pulmonary and arotic valves, which was suppose to close at birth and never did. Right now this is causing too much blood going into my sissy's heart and swelling up the left side like a balloon. The other two diseases are affecting the opening not allowing enough blood to go out of the heart called Pulmonaric and Aortic Stenosis. So essentially, her heart is constantly in a fight with itself. Good news, this surgery will disconnect the vein connecting the Pulmonary and Arotic so her heart no longer has too pump double the amount of blood through the heart and allow the openings to relax. The doctor explained that with this surgery, if all goes well, could allow my sissy to play with me again and get into mischeif together like we used too. But, my mommy and daddy need help. This isn’t a very cheap surgery and they are not in the position to financially afford such a surgery right now. From the bottom of my heart I would give up all the treats in the world to make my sissy better. Anything can help and would be so greatly appreciated. All I want for Christmas is to play fetch with my sissy again! Thank you all, it is so GREATLY APPRECIATED!
