What is it about? Let's get right into it!

It is about Malema. Malema is a small village located in Soro Gbema Chiefdom, Pujehun District, Sierra Leone, West Africa. Soro Gbemal Chiefdom's population was estimated by Statistics Sierra Leone to be 42,292 (20,291 Men & 22,001 Women).

But the chiefdom's villages have been struggling, particularly in the areas of health and sanitation. And as we all know, health is directly related to sanitation and if it is not right, you can never stay healthy.

Because of this issue, the people of the village have been facing severe health issues.

Sanitation is one of the most important aspects of community well-being because it protects human health, increases life expectancy, and reduces the spread of intestinal worms, schistosomiasis, and trachoma. Sanitation (for example, toilets, and latrines) is currently used to contain, treat, and protect human health and the environment.

Also, you might be surprised to know that the second most common cause of death in children under five is diarrhea, which may often be avoided with access to clean water and proper hygiene.

And if we are talking about sanitation and hygiene then we need to work on the toilets first. In light of this, we are asking for your help in completing the Malema community's public toilets.

Malema doesn't have any public toilets and it is a big cause of diseases there.

In the absence of toilets, an unhealthy environment contaminated by human waste may arise. Waste from infected people can contaminate a community's land and water without proper sanitation, increasing the risk of infection for others. Proper waste disposal can help to slow the infection cycle of many bacteria.

And in scenarios like this, people frequently have no other option than to live and drink water from an environment heavily polluted with waste from infected individuals, putting themselves at risk of future infection.

It needs to be stopped!

That's why we started building toilets in Malema a while ago. We cannot make this village perfect at once so this was just a start.

Well, after some time, we had to stop the construction because we have been working on short funds. Now we need more funds for this project and it can only be completed with your help!

That's why we are here. Your support has gotten us this far, and we can only finish building the public toilets for the residents of Malema village with your ongoing support.

Little hands make a big difference!

Kindly step forward and donate as much as you can, every penny counts! Also, share this campaign with your friends and family so that they can help us too.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We will be waiting for your help
