Saving Miss Mavis

2 weeks ago, our family was moving from Stuttgart, Germany to Portland, Oregon, on military orders when Mavis escaped from her crate as we were packing our luggage into the taxi. 

She was found 2 weeks after we had left, and was immediately taken to an emergency vet for fluids and monitoring of her health over the past weekend. As of the moment, we still do not know what is wrong, besides being dehydrated. She is starting to eat again on her own, but is losing protein and has fluid in her stomach, so more testing and testing required. And more waiting.

We're asking if you can spare a couple of dollars to help with Mavis' vet bills in Germany, and the eventual flight to reunite us all in Portland, Oregon, when she is better.
