Greetings,

I am Umineefa Younger aka Mama Umi. I am raising funds for the Saving Our Babies Arts & Cultural Center. We are an arts & cultural center with an educational initiative program located in the heart of the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. With the impact of inflation and operating cost, we are trying to keep our doors open to continue serving our families and community.

We are an independent institution, not funded by any city, state, or federal entities.

Our mission is to provide a network of programs and educational support services promoting and empowering our Afrikan children and families' social, cultural, and academic excellence and well-being. We develop substantial initiatives that prepare our children for the reality of life from the black experience in the United States and throughout the Afrikan Diaspora- through dialogue, history, storytelling, academics, exploration, and arts. Love is always at the center of the work that we do.
