We are humbled by Saving Sage’s journey from small-scale rescue to South Florida safe haven – touching the lives of over 30,000 vulnerable, injured, and homeless animals. It has been a privilege to serve the South Florida community, and we're inspired to continue on our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, & rehoming animals while offering affordable vet care & resources to pet owners in need.

To mark this special milestone and prepare for the many animals still in need, we are launching our 10 for 10 anniversary fundraiser.

We're asking for donations of just $10 to celebrate 10 years of saving lives. Our dream is to raise $10,000 during the month of October, kicking off the next decade of rescue work.

A $10 donation might seem small, but it has the power to make a life-changing impact. As a 100% non-profit and volunteer-run animal rescue, every single dollar makes a difference.

Rescue and Rehabilitation: We specialize in saving South Florida’s most vulnerable animals—those facing life-threatening injuries, needing surgeries, or recovering from abuse and neglect. Every animal deserves a second chance at life, and we are a no-kill shelter committed to providing that.

Fostering, Rehoming and Adoption: We’ve found loving homes for over 10,000 animals, but there are still so many waiting for their chance to join a family. With your support, we can continue finding forever homes for pets who have been overlooked and forgotten.

Pet Food, Shelter Maintenance, and Essentials: Your donation helps us cover the cost of food, toys, medical supplies, rent, and facility upkeep—everything we need to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for our animals until they find their forever homes.

Community Education and Affordable Vet Care: To prevent animals from ending up in shelters and tackle South Florida’s animal overpopulation crisis, we educate our community on responsible pet ownership, offer affordable vet services and emergency assistance to families in need, and provide resources like spay/neuter programs.
