Saving Senior Sweetie Max
In the words of my fellow volunteer:
"So I woke up this morning to a post from a neighboor stating that last night at 11pm she found a dog tied to her railing - someone had abandoned him there. At night. In the cold.
Evidently, I knew this dog as he was an ACCT resident. His name is Max, he’s 11 years old, had been adopted and returned and just recently adopted again and then abandoned last night. He doesn’t deserve this. What is wrong with people?
To make a super long story short, Max is currently snuggling on my blankets. I can’t keep him for long because of all of my other animals (who Max is 100% separated from) so please, please, please help me find a rescue to take Max.
He’s affectionate, sweet, a good runner and a senior. He doesn’t like other dogs but hasn’t been reactive as of lately. He’s a good boy."
I'm Max's pen pal and he is one of the best dogs I know. We can't let him go back to ACCT, he's just been through so much already. We would love to raise funds to help a rescue, foster or even a future adopter!! Any little bit helps. Max thanks you from the bottom of his loving, pure heart <3
