Saving the National Katrina Museum!

We have recently been informed by Global Green, USA, of their decision to sell the property at 5400 Douglas Street, a site of immense cultural and historical significance. The loss of this property would mean the loss of a significant piece of American history, a blow to the preservation of global cultural heritage, an end to our community center, We believe that with your support, we can safeguard this important institution for future generations.

KNMF has been fighting to establish resources for New Orleans, and especially the 9th ward, and with the purchase of this building we would have everything in place to begin implementing our plan!
