Saving to help a friend

short story, i have a friend in horrible living conditions and is in constant pain and stress, so im going to drive up to her to pick her up and bring her somewhere better that she planned. im in florida, shes in Illinois, I do work but don't get paid very good.

long story, So I have a friend that's going to be 18 in about a year, I'll be 19, but they aren't in the best living conditions right now. they living with their parents as to be expected since their age, but their mother isn't very nice, I won't go that far into detail cause I feel shed wanna not tell other people, but she isn't doing well where she is. a group of kids jumped her a little bit and she got hurt bad, she already has a plan but she needs a ride when she turns 18, and I'll be driving up to her to pick her up and bring her to her bf, I live in Florida and she lives in Illinois so I'm going to need a lot, any money will help.
