My name it’s Arlen I am a 36 years old Cuban Venezuelan Woman 

⚠️I Urgently need a Spinal Surgery (Tethered Cord Surgery), so I can qualify for other treatments 

I’m experiencing severe life altering symptoms: reduced ability to move and breath, muscle weakness, intermittent paralysis, chronic daily vomits, seizures, chronic infections, chronic pain, loss of sensation, dangerous low glucose levels, low potassium.
 I can’t sit down, or work, I have troubles talking, taking a shower and even remembering my treatments, ETC

I NEED HELP TO STAY ALiVE

I suffer from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Tethered Cord Syndrome, Immunodeficiency 
,Vascular Compression,  Craniocervical instability, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Bowel and Bladder Failure malnutrition , and other related diseases

⚠️These conditions are considered rare and orphan, which means that most doctors ignore how to diagnose and treat them, so it’s really hard to get specialized medical care.

-After I’ve traveled trough 4 countries and I’ve finally found doctors able to save my life

~I’ve been approved by Dr. Petra Klinge, a leader worldwide expert in Tethered Cord Syndrome  wiling to do My Spinal Surgery in Rhode Island. 
But I’ve to pay upfront $51.000 to schedule the surgery
⚠️We lost our home and most perteneces and I don’t have funds to cover my expenses.
I’m fighting to receive the care that will improve my quality of life while I keep a,I get visible the secretary orphan diseases and my story doesn’t happen to others


I’m in urgent need for help to cover the following immediate needs:
 1.- Money to pay the Rent
2.- Supplements 
4.- Food, I’ve many intolerances and need a lot of supplements
5.- Transportation: I’ve mobility issues due to Spinal disease so I need to be transported in a stretcher.
Every time I’ve to go out and walk, my nervous and organ functions are negatively impacted because of the spinal instability.

I’m been telling my story in social networks making visible my orphan diseases to raise awareness  so that my story doesn’t happen to others

-I count with Medicaid, which covers some medicines, but it does not cover the surgery, transportation or housing, we already touched base with them, I don’t have rights for refugee or asylum as I’m applying fir residence and it takes long time -I’m in the process with USCIS of getting her residency that way she will be able to access to some benefits and get a private insurance so I can receive proper medical care.

~I’ve been staying at different rooms and spending all my donations towards surgery and food and medicine  in rent 

⚠️Very soon I could be homeless if I don’t get money to pay for the rent

Mi nombre es Arlen soy una cubana venezolana de 36 años

⚠️Necesito urgentemente una Cirugía de Columna Vertebral (Cirugía de Médula Anclada), para poder optar a otros tratamientos

Estoy experimentando síntomas graves que alteran mi vida: capacidad reducida para moverme y respirar, debilidad muscular, parálisis intermitente, vómitos diarios crónicos, convulsiones, infecciones crónicas, dolor crónico, pérdida de sensibilidad, niveles bajos de glucosa peligrosos, niveles bajos de potasio.
 No puedo sentarme, ni trabajar, me cuesta hablar, ducharme y hasta recordar mis tratamientos, ETC.

NECESITO AYUDA PARA MANTENERME CON VIDA

Sufro de Síndrome de Ehlers Danlos, Síndrome de Médula Anclada, Inmunodeficiencia
, Compresión vascular, inestabilidad craneocervical, síndrome de activación de mastocitos, desnutrición por insuficiencia intestinal y vesical y otras enfermedades relacionadas

⚠️Estas condiciones se consideran raras y huérfanas, lo que significa que la mayoría de los médicos ignoran cómo diagnosticarlas y tratarlas, por lo que es muy difícil obtener atención médica especializada

-Después de haber viajado por 4 países y finalmente he encontrado médicos capaces de salvarme la vida.

~He sido aprobada por la Dra. Petra Klinge, líder mundial experta en síndrome de médula anclada dispuesta a realizar mi cirugía de columna en Rhode Island.
Pero tengo que pagar $51.000 por adelantado para programar la cirugía.
⚠️Perdimos nuestra casa y la mayoría de nuestras pertenencias y no tengo fondos para cubrir mis gastos.
Estoy contando mi historia en las redes sociales, haciendo visibles mis enfermedades huérfanas para que mi historia no le sucede a los demás


Estoy en necesidad urgente de ayuda para cubrir las siguientes necesidades inmediatas:
1.- Dinero para pagar la Renta
2.- Suplementos
4.- Comida, tengo muchas intolerancias y necesito muchos suplementos
5.- Transporte: Tengo problemas de movilidad por enfermedad de columna por lo que necesito ser transportado en camilla.
⚠️Cada vez que tengo que salir a caminar, las funciones de mis nervios y órganos se ven afectadas negativamente debido a la inestabilidad de la columna.

He estado contando mi historia en las redes sociales para crear conciencia y ayudar a otros a obtener un diagnóstico

-Cuento con Medicaid, que cubre algunos medicamentos, pero no cubre la cirugía, el transporte o la vivienda, ya tocamos base con ellos, no tengo derechos de refugiada ni asilo ya que estoy solicitando residencia y se tarda mucho tiempo Yo Estoy en el proceso con USCIS para al tener residencia poder acceder a algunos beneficios y comprar un seguro privado para poder recibir la atención médica adecuada


~ Me he estado hospedando en diferentes habitaciones y gastando todas mis donaciones para la cirugía en alimentos, medicinas y renta .

⚠️Muy pronto podría quedarme sin hogar si no consigo dinero para pagar el alquiler
