I'm raising money to help Lady Kate the cavalier King Charles spaniel puppy mill surrender.
I heard about this baby from a friend of a friend when she was seen at petco up for adoption thru the Faulkner county SPCA. I offered to take and foster her and was turned down but was allowed to fill out the application and Pay the $250 adoption fee and take her that day.
From what I was told she is around 5 and was surrendered after she was no longer able to produce puppies. She was at the shelter for 3 weeks where they spayed her and got her current on her shots.
She is in bad shape and has a long way to go but I am going to try and do all that I can for this baby in hopes of giving her a wonderful life for the rest of her days.
Her coat and skin is a mess. Her toes and nails are all knotted from being in a wire cage for what I assume was her whole life. And her mouth is a train wreck.
I've had her for 2 days now and have gotten her to eat. And will take her to the vet as soon as they can get her in. Where I am anxious to get a better idea of what kind of health she is in and what kind of bills I will be looking at. The dental bill alone will be scary.
So please help me save this baby.
In my opinion this is THE best breed and it breaks my heart that this baby has suffered for as long as she has. But with help I hope to change that!
