Saving Lois

I would like to raise money for my children's mother, who is humbly and quietly fighting aplastic anemia. Aplastic anemia is a rare blood disease, it is cause by bone marrow failure and is a condition that occurs when your body stops producing new blood cells. At the moment her body is having aplastic crisis and is in need of radiation and allogeneic bone marrow infusions, however the cost is too much for her. Temporary, she is receiving blood transfusions (too often) to keep her alive. Her body is killing her blood cells faster than the doctors can treat her. This treatment that she needs may save her life because the transfusions will only keep her afloat for now and she needs treatment, immediately. Watching her suffer in silence is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, she has symptoms she hides from everyone!! I have watched her suffer with fatigue, shortness of breath, nose bleeds, infections, headaches, vomiting, enormous amounts of pain in her body, and the list can go on forever... Lois attains a very high GPA, and serves many students in her leadership role at Indiana University and has not missed a beat this entire semester of fighting this disease and I am sure most of her friends do not even know she is going through this because she is a humble servant! Most importantly, she is a wonderful mother to my four children and these children need their mother! Please help me to raise money for her to start her treatments at St. Joseph Hospital. Thank you everyone for your prayers, generosity, and anything else you can do to help her!
