Say "Thank You" to Gary Daigle
Donation protected
Gary Daigle is an extremely talented musician who, over the last 45 years, has had a profound impact on Catholic worship in the United States as a composer, arranger, producer and performer of liturgical music to assist congregational participation in the liturgy. He has not only created original liturgical music but has assisted numerous other liturgical musicians in arranging and recording their music for congregational singing. He has given us a beautiful means of praising God in song. Unfortunately, in 2015 Gary was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and his health has quickly deteriorated to the point where he can no longer sing, play a musical instrument or direct a choir. Today, he is no longer able to earn a salary. His medical expenses are mounting while his living expenses are draining his available funds. Several liturgical musicians from across the country, including the Dameans, Rory Cooney, Terry Donahoo, Marty Haugan, Fr. Michael Joncas, and Dona Pena, have joined together to set up this fund to help support Gary in this time of great need and to say "thank you" to him for his contribution to liturgical music. If you have ever been moved by a song or arrangement that Gary has helped to create, we ask you to express your gratitude to Gary by contributing to this fund. Through you, God can bring Gary both healing and support.
