Saying final goodbye to Mom

On April 7, 2018, my brother, Josh LaBossiere married Jade Gillooly and her little daughter Charlie (now 7). Since then they have added three children: Holmes (3), Henrick (2), and Snow (1). It is with tremendous regret that I share that Jade is currently in hospice with severe medical complications. Tragically, according to my brother, it has been determined by the doctors that she would not survive any attempt at a major life-saving procedure. Jade is 25 years old.

We love the children immeasurably and we are devastated that they are losing their Mom. We are devastated, also, for my brother, and Jade’s family, especially her mother Christine.

This is extremely uncomfortable for us to ask but I feel it is necessary. We are requesting financial assistance for Josh and the boys to fly home from Arizona so they can say their final goodbyes. This will cover flights and other expenses. It is important that they are here for Charlie, their big sister/stepdaughter, who has been living with her mother and grandmother (Jade & Christine) for the last several months. This is not a story we were ever hoping to tell.
