Saying Goodbye to Sludge's Flow

As many of you know, since the pandemic started 3 years ago, I started growing out my hair. Much to my chagrin, it is time for the flow to go. Flow like this can't be cut without some sort of extravaganza though...

On 3/23 I turn 30 and for my birthday, I wanted to celebrate by raising some awareness for JDRF. Something many don't know is that on 3/23/1976, my mother, at the age of 13, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. On my birthday, 17 years before I was even a twinkle in her eye, she was given a diagnosis that would change her life forever. March 23rd has always been a significant day for my mom, as even though it is her JDRF diagnosis anniversary, it was also the day she was able to deliver her 2nd child, all-the-while, battling Type 1 Diabetes. For the last 47 years, my mom has overcome the daily plights of Type 1 Diabetes and continued to adapt in the fight for a cure.

So this GoFundMe has a two-prong donation: 1) on 3/10/23 @ 7pm I will be donating my hair to Locks of Love @ Ferris Wheelers Backyard and BBQ and 2) raising money to directly benefit JDRF, and any donation will help make an impact.
