Saying goodbye to Vinny Aparo and supporting Coni Aparo.

I am saddened to say that Vinny Aparo passed away on September 26th from heart failure, and Coni is in and out of the hospital and rehabilitation center in West New York, New Jersey. We are looking for the people who know and love Coni and Vinny and asking for help with funeral costs and relocation costs.

This year has been hard on both of them, with Coni battling cancer and Vinny having medical and mobility problems. The rise in the cost of living has been very hard for them. Their home of 20+ years was sold, and the new landlord raised their rent to an amount they couldn't afford. They are fast approaching the deadline to leave their home to avoid eviction. Their search for affordable rentals has been futile, and their medical bills have been steadily increasing. All of this has drained their savings and caused extreme stress to both of them. Now that Vinny is finally at peace, Coni is left to grieve and try to adjust to life without her beloved husband. Their grandson has managed to come from Saudi Arabia to try to help them, but he is only able to be here for a short amount of time. We are hoping to raise funds to give Vinny the funeral he wanted. A memorial service will be held when Coni's health has improved and she is able to make arrangements.

Before Vinny passed away, he and Coni had decided to try to relocate to Connecticut. We are trying to obtain a spot in a rehabilitation center in Connecticut for Coni so she can heal and regain her independence again. The search for a new place for Coni to live after rehabilitation is currently underway, and we are hoping to have her safe and close to relatives who want to support her.
