Jacob’s Battle

Jacob was diagnosed with ALL (leukemia) nearly 2.5 years ago and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. As you may know, Jacob lost his mother suddenly 3 days before his first birthday, leaving his father and Grandma to be his primary caregivers while he has faced this battle. Jacob has undergone numerous rounds of chemotherapy, but unfortunately it was only a temporary reprieve from his fight. He then underwent a bone marrow transplant with an anonymous donor, which also ended up being unsuccessful. Jacob ended up in Montreal on an experimental trial that kept him away from home for a period of time. At the end of it all, this, too, turned out to be unsuccessful. He now has the opportunity to go to Memphis, TN for another experimental trial - Partially Matched Family Donor Bone Marrow Transplant (HAP2HCT)- that will keep him and his family away for approximately 6 months. We are asking for your support in raising funds for travel and expenses for his Grandma and family to be able to visit for extended periods of time. His Grandma will be the beneficiary of what is raised and will allocate funds appropriately. This will be a long road ahead.
