Save Tucker

My name is Blair and I am a dog sitter. I have so many wonderful clients and I love them like they are my own. I have been looking after Tucker since he was a few week old puppy. This past week, Tucker suffered from a spontaneous lung torsion and needed to be rushed to Blue Pearl animal hospital in Southfield where he will undergo life-saving surgery. His prognosis is good and the doctors are confident that they can perform surgery and remove the small, twisted portion of the lung. As with most things, this surgery has been quoted to cost around $13,000. This has created a serious financial hardship for his loving owners. Tayler and Marty are in their early 20s, Tayler is a full-time nursing student at NCMC and Marty works in carpentry.
