Help feed 2 million people in Ukraine and share the gospel with them over the next three months.

The war in Ukraine is a tragedy of modern time. 10 000 refugees, hundred thousands are killed many lost their houses, property, businesses and families.

Every day 250 soldier are killed by Russian army and a lot of civilians. Many cities like Mariupol, Kharkiv, Severodonetsk, Irpin, Borodyanka, Bucha, Chernigiv had been destroyed.

Evil is winning, when good is silent! We, as a church, have to be active and help those who are vulnerable and suffers from the cruel war.

We need to give them bread and «bread of live». For the past three months of war, our ministry was able to take care about 1 million people and distribute 3000 tons of food and medical supplies. We are working along with other organizations and volunteers, like the Foundation «We stand with Ukraine», Samaritan Purse, Convoy of Hope.

NBC came to Ukraine, to the Academy and made a short report about our work. You may watch it here

We made an agreement with Samaritan Purse. They gave 11 000 tons of food to distribute to our foundation.

11000 tons of food will be enough for 2,000,000 people in Ukraine. It is an incredible opportunity. Our task is to send the semi trucks to 4 oblast in Ukraine: Kharkov, Chernigiv, Kyiv and Poltava, and to the local churches. Church had to be active in taking care about people in Ukraine.

You may help us in reaching this goal! We need to raise money to be able to hire drivers, buy gas, take care about logistic and distribution. Every dollar will help us to feed people and share Gospel. Thank you so much for your generosity and help!

Ellina tells her story:

New Pic:

This is a picture of people peacefully trying to leave Ukraine. There are approximately 1.7 million people who have left as of March 7, and 60% of those people have gone to Poland.

Ellina and Sergey Lesnik together with several families started a youth sports club a half-hour south of Kyiv, Ukraine. Pictured with their daughters (Solomia, Tereza, and Eve). Their heart's desire was (and still is) to have quality sports training while reaching people for Christ.

A few years ago they built a facility they call UCSA (Ukraine Christian Sports Academy), a world-class academy hosting international futbol (soccer) athletes. They are leading the way in sports-related ministry. This video tells of their mission and vision.

Additionally, UCSA is also the home to a preschool and kindergarten where the students learn English as well as prepare for school. This year the school started a first-grade class with a desire to add grades all the way to high school.

UCSA is also home to a church full of Ukrainian believers who want to love God and serve him by investing in others.

As you have seen in the news over the past several days, beginning on Thursday, Feb 24, Putin began his invasion by attacking 10 cities in Ukraine. So many of the Kingdom dreams of the Lesniks have been (are being) thwarted by this war. This picture is as of the morning of March 1 according to the NYTimes.

They are totally heartbroken and devastated.

Their journey has involved hours and hours of riding in their car first to the Polish border and after realizing the number of people fleeing, they drove more hours south. When they finally arrived at the Romanian border, Ellina was forcibly separated from Sergey by the guards. They asked for urgent prayers and decide that he would try several other border crossings to try and get across.

By the mercy of God, Saturday morning February 26, Ellina and Sergey and their family were reunited.

During this time UCSA has been a haven for people who have had to flee their homes and have not had a place to go. The building has a basement and some lodging as well as a kitchen on the main floor. Those who are there are able to make and have food, but as the war progresses, the food will run out. They have also covered their signage on the academy so that it will not be an obvious target for bombers and missile strikes.

As of today, Sergey and Ellina have separated with two missions: Sergey is staying in Romania and helping coordinate help for Ukrainian refugees as they are passing the border. Pictured are Ukrainians who have fled the country and are in Romania as refugees.

In the picture below are Ukrainians who have taken refuge in UCSA. They are in a basement room of the academy.

Ellina and their three daughters are heading to the US. Ellina wants to be able to tell people how they can be a part of helping Ukraine in practical ways. They will be staying in Tennessee for a minimum of two weeks.

Would you like to be a part of helping Ellina and Sergey? Will you donate to help them help other families who are refugees and taking shelter?

Our goal is $15,000.

Ellina’s words:

Each dollar will be spent carefully.

1. We will buy medical supplies, food, and gas and send it to Ukraine's churches. They will split it for all who are in need.

Sergey with other brothers in Christ already worked to have a channel from Poland to Ukraine. They packed the cars and send it to Ukraine. It is safe and trustworsthy.

2. If you know any of big associations and charity organizations that are looking for ways to help, please help me to get in touch with them. It is very important to help through people you know and trust!!!

You know us for so many years and know that we have clean conscience.

3. Pray! Please keep Ukraine in your prayers. Pray God stop the crazy crazy men. Thank you that you care!
