Single mother battling Brain cancer -Amber Caudill

This is the story of Amber Caudill who is fighting a cancer diagnosis. A single mom has been blindsided by such a tragic diagnosis. After experiencing concerning symptoms, that just seemed to have no end. As someone who works in Healthcare, the fear that something was wrong became overwhelming. It led to a crushing diagnosis. Cancer.

As if the Cancer journey isn't tough enough, imagine being a single parent. My dear friend is a young single mom, who has fought her whole life to provide for her child and everything they have. Now she is battling brain cancer. She isn't one to ask for help. So this is very difficult. That's why friends have stepped up on her behalf. The person she is, is reason enough to stand by her side in this battle.

She takes care of everyone else before herself. Her experience working in Healthcare has made it so that, she isn't usually the recipient looking for help. Being a single mother, she is a one woman show. She does everything on her own. She stretches herself thin and goes beyond normal limits. Unfortunately not everything can always be done by one person. No matter how amazing they are and no matter how hard they try.

This means bills have started piling up. Her surgery is going to take her out work completely. This will make her life much more difficult. It is hard to even imagine the full effects and extent of this struggle.

Her child is also in elementary school and very active in the community sports. Which she is very involved in. This woman volunteers many hours all season long. She does it all with kindness, generosity, and love. She would be the one helping out the person in need, if the situation was reversed.

She would give (whatever she could spare) or offer help without question. Whatever it is that she could do. Nothing would be too small. She may have cancer of the brain, but her heart is strong. If only that was enough.
