Scaling up MenSpeak to save lives, marriages and marbles!

It's 5.30am the day before my 60th birthday and I've just woken up after a bit of a dodgy dream. Truth be known, I'm not having a good time of it lately as I'm dangerously on the edge of burnout when it comes to lifting the lid on my laptop. My health is suffering, my marriage is under stress and I feel like after all these decades - I just can't do it any more.

I set up my first business in the late 1980s when I had PTSD from my childhood, because my OCD (being late for work after compulsively washing and lying about why I'm late) meant that I was unemployable. I also had Tourettes at the time, plus dyscalculia (dyslexia with numbers) and various other issues - which I've unlearned and put to peace and balance.

The good news is that I have help! Lucy is organising my chaos and will get MenSpeak Men's Groups CIC ready to be scaled up with a worthy leader at the top. This is the dream and these are the core team. So for my 60th birthday I'm looking to raise £60k to enable this to happen.

I was ready to throw the towel in, as if life was about carrying around the pressure of a backlog of inboxes and waking up in a pool of dread - then I was ready for out!

Since stepping back from my laptop I've received valuable feedback about my heightened facilitation skills, inspiring the men I've trained and serving my communities and clients at a greater depth, with better results. I'm free to do what I love and more able to share my tools with others, which is my mission and purpose in my 60s!
