Scammed into complete disaster

I'm Kathryn Rushent, and I'm speaking for myself and my sister, Jessie Spiece. We've shared our home here in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, now for over 25 years, taking in rescue kitties and doing our best to make the best of our fixed incomes in recent years - my monthly disability and Jessie's pension.
But things became increasingly difficult as time went by and things became steadily more expensive. We went looking for possible solutions, and a person I thought was a good friend suggested a bitcoin maven he works with. It sounded great, and we thought if we carefully arranged payments for seed money, we should be able to get in something that would make our lives better.
We were wrong. Though we were supposed to receive a pretty good chunk of money - now over $30,000 - the woman running the company refuses to allow us to withdraw or otherwise receive the money. And, in the meantime, we paid out more than $9000 in hopes of making our investment work. That may not sound like much, but when you're on fixed (and low) incomes, it's a lot, an awful lot. Now, we're two months behind on the mortgage, the same on a 2nd mortgage, and all the bills are overdue - we're probably going to lose our internet/phone/TV bundle tomorrow.
I know we were stupid, but combined hope and desperation for something better got us here. I'm here now, asking anyone who sees this to help us save our home, even save ourselves. Two elderly women with kidney disease wouldn't survive very well in a car (and ours doesn't even have a heater) in the Canadian winter.
Please help us. It would mean the world to us, the world as it exists in our little house here with our kitties. Thank you for reading this.
